The Marty Lurie Story

He was a top criminal defense who quit at the top of his game to follow his lifelong passion, to talk about baseball.

This is a baseball movie but it’s much more than that.

Marty Lurie’s story is a worthy film all by itself but the “tapestry” of this narrative also includes the stories of a diverse group whose lives have been enriched by being connected with Marty.

Its about personal loss, survival, success, transformation, greater success, mentorship, racial justice, woman’s rights, American history and turtle races.
